Some people are like wine, the older the get, the better they become at what they are doing.
I first met Faizel Mc years back in Namibia where we were both young artists trying to establish ourselves. Years have come and gone and Faizel Mc has mastered his craft as an artist to the maximum.Now based in Berlin, Germany, he is not only pleasing his fans in Africa, but he has established a fanbase all over the world.
Bashir Fauz (born 02 July 1982), better known by his stage name Faizel MC, is a East African reggae/dancehall, Afropop singer. He is referred to as Namibia’s "Dancehall King”. Faizel was born in Kenya Nairobi in 1982 to a Tanzanian Father and a Ugandan Mother, where at the age of 5 he was moved to Uganda with his parents and acquired Ugandan citizenship, later after his Father passed on, he was reunited with his Adopted father, the younger brother to his late dad in Namibia where he lived most of his life from the age of 15. He was involved in the music industry from a young age and released an album and many singles in the beginning of 2000 with his first ever Hit song Señorita and Change Macho. Then, he achieved success in Namibia.
He is a Multiple NAMA award nominee, one time NAMA awards winner for famous songs like Best of Both worlds with the Dogg, and Sunny boy, Kamata, Chunga Macho, Moto and many other Hits.
Later he moved to Germany to start a family with his wife and diverted into managing his music.
In 2000, he released 2 albums with Dungeon Family Namibia which had all stars of Upcoming artists who are now big and established and also WACHANO with Bolly.
In 2001, he released his first solo album entitled Days Go By, 2002 second album MOTO,
2006 Back Again and in 2009 Mutima.

Musical Background
There has always been music in the family where his uncle played instruments and was a Dj in the Uk for some time and Faizel MC himself had the passion looking up to his uncle.
Musical Career
Faizel Mc has worked with many musicians along the way from different countries such as
Jimmy Over Over from Zambia, Pettersen, Roberto, and is studios with a new song colabo from Towela.
Gazza, The Dog, Gal Level, Oteya, and many other Namibian stars.
Ogopa Deejays, Jose Chameleon, Toniks Uganda, as well as Deena.
Now under his own record label RuffnTuff, managed by Sula, his brother of ogopaButterfly from the South African region, Willy Mzazi Muzadde East African region and Saeed Ali European region.
